Terms and conditions of attendance / “rules of attendance”
Participants are required to act in a manner befitting of respect and politeness, as well as avoiding intentional offense. Furway is a place with many different people and opinions, and a mutual respect for this fact and this variety is expected from all attendees. Serious transgressions in this regard will result in eviction from the arrangement.
Furway may at all times deny entrance to, or evict from the venue, those without a valid and confirmable ticket.
Photography and filming will happen at Furway, both by Furway crew and other participants. By attending Furway you acknowledge that this will happen and acknowledge that you yourself is explicitly responsible for verbally declining being photographed or filmed. By attending the convention you also concede to either photographers or the convention itself publicizing photos or video material depicting yourself. You can at any time revoke this permission by contacting the convention, should you not wish for any photos or video material of yourself to be published. All attendees that themselves photograph or film others must ask beforehand for explicit permission.
All attendees at the arrangement agree to ensure the facilities and venue remain clean and orderly at all times. Smoking is not permitted inside the venue buildings and must only be done in designated areas outside. Cigarette butts must be collected and safely stored in either ashtrays or appropriate containers, subject to the discretion of the venue ownership.
All allergies, intolerances and health issues must be reported to Furway beforehand so as to ensure successful medical precautions by the Furway crew.
Attendees are themselves responsible for their own health and well-being. Furway cannot be held responsible for any personal injury that might occur during the arrangement. (Though we’ll certainly do our best to help!)
Items and substances prohibited by Norwegian law are in any and all cases forbidden. Transgressions will result in eviction – possibly for several consecutive years – and possible legal action.
Attire regarded as related to sexual activity (including but limited to examples such as pup hoods, latex clothing, body harnesses, etc.) is prohibited in public convention areas before 21:00/9 PM. Judgement in matters of clothing decency are completely at the discretion of convention crew. Collars are allowed at all times, and accompanying leashes after 21:00/9 PM. Additionally, photoshoots involving sexual attire or nudity (AD photoshoots) has to be held in private rooms or outside the convention area after 21:00/9 PM. We ask that you be mindful of other attendees, non-attendees and the convention's reputation
Furway has the right to evict anyone excessively intoxicated, or anyone refusing to comply with requests from Furway staff about change in behaviour or mannerisms. Examples include, but are not limited to, requests for lowering the volume on portable speakers, adjusting or changing indecent clothing or attire.
Full nudity is prohibited in the public convention areas, but going bare-chested is allowed outdoors. However, please be mindful of both other attendees and potential visitors (e.g. single-day ticket attendees) when going topless.
Animals are allowed on the venue, but due to possible hygiene and allergy concerns bringing them inside the venue buildings requires permission from either convention crew or venue personnel. Norwegian legislation on leashes applies normally.
The organization Furway is both proprietor and in rent of costly equipment and facilities. Attendees must use equipment and facilities only according to premeditated plans and activities and must treat this fairly and with care. amage/destruction of equipment, facilities or property may incur financial recompense by the parties involved.
These terms apply to all meetings and arrangements organized by Furway unless otherwise specified. These terms apply to everyone attending the arrangements. By attending a Furway event, the attendee agrees to comply with these terms.
